Servicing and Repairs
At SDS Watersports we are not just about selling the latest and widest range of watersports equipment in the country (…although we are pretty good at that if we do say so ourselves) but we are also about helping you to look after and maintain your existing equipment. We know how much this equipment can cost and we understand how important it is to look after it and to make sure that it continues to perform. That's why we have some of the most talented repair and service engineers in the business……
Dry Suits
All suit repairs are done on site by our factory trained repair specialist. Typical repairs and their costs include:
- Suit immersion and leak evaluation test £15.00
- Neck seal replacement from £38.50
- Cuff seal replacement from £38.50

Regulators & BCD's
All regulators and BCD's are serviced on site by our fully authorised factory trained engineers including a full stitching facility to repair most BCD's and Harnesses.
Cylinder Testing
All the cylinder testing completed at SDS is carried out to meet the required IDEST recommendations EN1802/EN1968. Testing is carried out by our UKAS approved ASSET, SITA and IDEST trained staff. Member number CT555.
Each cylinder is then passed back to the customer with a date/IDEST stamp and certificate of testing.
Prescription Lenses
We can fit prescription lenses to almost any make of masks. Lenses and work carried out by fully qualified optician.
- Single Vision lenses ... £80.00 for correcting distance.
- Reading lenses ... £80.00 - half moons fitted to the bottom portion for reading of instruments.
- Bifocal lenses ... £110.00 to correct both distance and reading vision.
Please add £8.50 for return postage.
High power lenses are available by quotation.
Ordering is simple - just send the mask, copy of your prescription, tell us what type of lenses are required and we will do the rest. All our lenses are hand made to the exact prescription requirements and correct any astigmatism or prism problems.
