I have just recieved my Tusa FF-19 X-PERT evolution Fins, delivery was super fast, awesome! I am really happy with both service and product as not only did I get a quick response to my email from the staff, they went out of their way to give me information and now i have exactly what i wanted. Thanks so much :)
This is the first under suit I''ve owned, always rented in the past prior to purchasing a drysuit setup. This under suit is excellent, very warm compared to the rental gear, dived in 6c at Capernwray and didn''t feel cold at all, normally I would be freezing cold after 10 minutes! Dived in the Farnes, around 11c, and had a dry glove leak, but even though me arm was full of water it didn''t feel cold and the under suit dried before the the next dive. Although expensive if you want to keep warm in cold conditions and have excellent mobility this undersuit is ideal, worth every penny. Th guys at SDS were excellent, the spent a couple of hours with me and have great advice. I went in to buy a Waterproof D10 and came out of the store with a Fusion Drysuit!
This s my first drysuit, however I''ve rented a number of trilam suits over the last 3 years, with the usual variation in quality and comfort. I chose the bullet skin, due to the more durable construction, which for UK waters I suspected would be more appropriate. The suit comes with the lightweight outer as well, so for winter diving in Egypt this will be a good alternative to a 5mm wetsuit I suspect. Once I''d watched the videos on how to don the suit and fusion thermal under suit, it was a quick and easy process, not quite as quick as a Trilam setup but ok. I went for the SLT silicon seals, which are so easy to slide your head and hands into and also to replace, 2 wrist seals so far, but both were damaged by me attempting to practice their removal without watching the appropriate video on YouTube! Due to the stretchy nature of the suit, if I double in weight this suit will stil fit me like a glove, I suspect it won''t be too flattering to larger people, however which drysuit is? The service I received from SDS during the buying process was excellent, they didn''t recommend a specific setup, however after I''d tried on several different dry suits it became apparent that the Whites drysuit was the most comfortable and warm on offer, it was the only one that I overheated in a cold shop in early winter...... Great service guys, an excellent price and when I manage to get a job that pays more than my current one, ill be back for more gear!!
Purchased one of these about 4 years ago from SDS. Excellent piece of kit, tough as old boots. Very comfortable underwater and great on the surface. Only downside was the integrated weight pockets which have now been redesigned so that the weight can''t be knocked out accidentally.
Its a very good bcd to travel with, couldn't ask for more really. Thanks

Hi Arthur, I just wanted to thank you so much for sending all my gear so quickly and for making it up/testing it etc. I a delighted with it.............and itching to go diving! I am going to need a reg adapter so will call the shop to purchase. It seems my first outing with all the gear may be Thailand where DIN is less common and I would hate to be left ashore! Hi Arthur, Just got back from Oban, had a good 4 days up there, diving was good but weather wet, very wet to soggy, in fact it never stopped raining. By the way, both suits are great for diving, Jean loves hers and it dries in no time. At some point though, I may need to get a smaller neck seal on mine as it must have been originally cut for someone of neck size 16 (5th line on the seal) and I am a 15. I got rather wet on second dive to depth (first dive was shallow to test all kit), but I am going to try something that Pam has to pad it out a bit( a neck band to stop irritation but suspect it may not work and will have to get new seal. The computer is brilliant and the delayed SMB is dead easy to use as you said and was also good to lie on waiting for boat. The only thing I did not try, and hope that I never need to is my air horn, but I have the peace of mind knowing that it is there. So all in all, you have provided us with very good sound advice and some great kit thanks. See you soon.
Dear Adam Just a brief note of thanks for the excellent service from yourselves and Suunto on the faulty tank pressure transmission on my D9. Even though the fault was discovered during the warranty period, the warranty has expired and I am still getting service as if the warranty was in place. This gives me great faith in SDS and Suunto and will certainly buy from yourselves and Suunto again. I am diving with the computer next week and hope to report that all will be working well. To all at SDS I just wanted to say - a huge THANK YOU for the wonderful service and attention I received last weekend when purchasing my BCD + drysuit. It wasn't about buying - you really cared I was properly fitted + happy. I can't wait to try the equipment out! To Arthur Thanks again, to you and all your Staff at SDS! Once again, you’ve proved that you are without doubt, the Best Dive Store in the UK (and I’ve visited a few!! I called to see you with an Emergency Job, my Twin Tanks had been Manifolded (and trashed) by another Dive Shop (which is, close to us on the Derby/Notts Border), who thought it would be preferable to fall out with me, rather than fix their fault (they have a reputation for this kind of behaviour). You mobilised-your-forces and not only repaired the faults, but set up the Twin Tanks for a Test Dive that Night!! Amongst other things: the Twin Tanks were levelled-up (they had been bouncing around the Table when I brought them in!) The Kent Tooling Bracket, was: realigned (the right way up!) and straightened to slot-in with the Harness Plate (this was then spaced-off the Wing and fitted tight, with Stainless Steel Bolts! The Manifold was repaired (it was supposed to be Brand New?) with a New Valve Seat (the original Dive Shop said there was nothing wrong with it. You and your Lads, then set up the Whole Rig: Inflator/Direct Feed, Dual SPG’s, Reg. Hoses (including adapting one of the Apeks to a LH feed)...Job done! And ready for that Evening...this is on Equipment you had not even supplied yourself! No one could get that Service on the Internet, you can’t beat coming into the Shop and meeting the Staff, including: getting a First Class job done. I am an SDS Fan for Life and would always recommend you to other Divers. To that end, please feel free to use my comments, as you wish, to promote SDS and confirm your commitment to Quality, to others. Kind regards.

Hi Arthur, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff again for a first class and service with regard to the possible defect with Miflex hoses and compatibility with certain regs. II hope the knowledge gained will be used by the manufacturers. Hi Ian I received the suit and mask today. Both are great, I'm really happy! I just wanted to commend SDS Watersports on your 1st class customer service. I first placed an order with you because you offered the products I wanted much cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Not only that, I had questions about my order beforehand - you were totally professional both on the phone and via email and went out of your way to see if it was possible to fulfil my order, when it came to returning the wetsuit to swap for a different size you were brilliant, no problems and super quick, even hurrying up the out of stock mask to get it to me on time before I go away. People are quick enough to shout when something goes wrong but often forget if they receive great service so this is my THANK YOU to you. Hi Arthur I just wanted to thank you so much for sending all my gear so quickly and for making it up/testing it etc.I would like to thank you and your staff for the recent service we had. We recently had a couple of twinsets and a single cylinder tested. It may seem a simple one, however, there was a bit of messing about on the phone arranging it all (all on my behalf), the whole process of booking them in and getting receipts was painless and professional. The cylinders were professionally serviced with professional paperwork provided. The cost was fair and all in all it was an excellent service. In my experience this level of service is 'far and between' in the dive industry at the moment. So much that I felt compelled to write this email. We haven't been to SDS in a couple of years due to the distance. It's fair to say that you will be seeing much more of us, our club and hopefully anyone else we recommend you too. Thanks for the experience and I will certainly be telling everyone of the service I received and the value of SDS on the dive boats this season. Cheers

Mask in Saturday 28th January 2012 for prescription lens to be fitted, message received on Thursday 2nd February stated mask ready, picked up mask on Monday 5th February lens/eyesight perfect, can now see if shadow is partner or predator!!!!
